I really like your #1 item, make a list of to do's. While going through a Management Associate training program at a Bank I had the opportunity to spend a couple of days at the call center. It was interesting that every inbound call was given a ticket number, notes were taken on what needed to be accomplished, and the employees were incented on how many items they could "put to rest" each day. Nothing was ever forgotten, and regardless of how long it took to accomplish, everything was tracked until it was finally accomplished.

I began using excel to duplicate that process. Using Data Filters (which by the way is very simple) allows you to key goals, dreams, tasks, projects, etc. into the execl worksheet. You can then sort all of the items by categorys and plan out your quarter very effectively. It's an invaluable tool! Having this in place allows me to work on your #2 each and every day without loosing site of what I am wanting to accomplish.

Thanks for sharing. Great reminder of the fundamentals of success. I'm on linkedin if you'd like to connect.

This is a great topic. When you reinforce positive qualities they stick with you. The trick is to recognize them and make it a point to keep them top of mind.
